PSP Workshop: Getting Started
tbd

If you have access to or have on hand either an unofficial or official college transcript, please bring it with you to this workshop.Every applicant/participant has unique qualifications, education and other circumstances to consider while working to qualify for the PSP certification. Therefore, some may take longer than others to qualify based on job experience, active dues paying membership with TOTEM, education, and continuing education. Newer TOTEM members can expect three – four years before becoming eligible to apply, but there could be exceptions to this timeline.

Recertification applies to all PSP certificate levels, including those with the Certified Educational Office Employee (CEOE) Distinction. However, those with the CEOE distinction will be not be required to pay for the CEOE title if they already have done so.

Important Membership Process Update for NAEOP
The NAEOP Board of Directors is sending out the attached letter current members with membership renewal forms by mail. The membership voted to set all members’ expiration dates based on the calendar year of January-December with a start date of January 1, 2026. This change aims to make the billing process easier for the office and create consistency for membership for all members.
The invoices being sent are inclusive of the prorated amount for the current year plus the annual amount for 2026. For example: If you are currently renewed in September, you will receive an invoice for three (3) months @ $4.58/month plus the full year renewal of $55 for the year 2026. There is the option to pay the remaining amount for 2025 and be invoiced for 2026. However, you must contact the office to arrange this option. They can be reached at Staf@NAEOP.org.
I encourage you to make a calendar reminder for your membership renewal to avoid having a lapse in your membership after 45 days. This lapse will result in the loss of your PSP differential and the waiting period of one year to reapply as if it is a new PSP.
Thank you,
