TOTEM MEMBER & MEMBER DEPENDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
TOTEM provides three different types of scholarships, two for members and one for member dependents as set forth in the TOTEM Member and Member Dependent Scholarship Guidelines. The drawing for the twenty $250 and the ten $500 member scholarships will be held during the TOTEM Spring Conference. You do not need to be present to win. Questions regarding scholarships may be directed to the Scholarship Committee by way of the TOTEM Office (office@totemassoc.org).
SCHOLARSHIPS
TOTEM dues paying members can apply for only one of the following:
2026-2027 SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED
PROFESSIONAL GROWTH SCHOLARSHIPS
$250.00 each to be used for classes and/or materials that promote job professionalism; twenty (20) of these are available for use between July 1, 2026, and June 30, 2027. Deadline to apply is by 5:00pm, Friday, February 20, 2026.
CONTINUING EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIPS
$500.00 each to be applied only toward tuition and books; ten (10) of these are available for use between July 1, 2026 and June 30, 2027. Deadline to apply is by 5:00pm, Friday, February 20, 2026.
MEMBER DEPENDENT SCHOLARSHIPS
Five (5) member dependents will be selected by the scholarship committee to receive $1,000.00 each for tuition and books. Applications are available in each high school career resource room, the TOTEM office or click below. Deadline to apply is by 5:00pm, Friday, March 13, 2026.

2026-2027 scholarships are available to use between July 1, 2026, and June 30, 2027. If you have won a scholarship & need reimbursement, please fill out a request for scholarship payment form, attach receipts and submit it to our office at 3310 Arctic Blvd, Suite 200, Anchorage, AK 99503. If you are unsure about whether your item is covered by the scholarship, please take a look at our reimbursement guide. If you still have questions, please have your items pre-approved by TOTEM prior to purchasing.
