ASD Paraprofessionals:
Alaska State Statute has changed and therefore, beginning in the Fall 2023, all instructional paraprofessionals will be required to meet the high standards of qualification under Alaska regulation 4 AAC 04.220.

The Anchorage School District has decided to provide the Master Teacher, Inc. platform in order to assist you in meeting the new qualifications. This platform will provide the necessary online training to prepare you for the assessments.
Master Teacher is a yearlong license provided for you. It contains additional resources that can be used to further your professional development if you so choose.
Please note: This is NOT REQUIRED to be done over the summer, but we wanted to provide you with the access ahead of time.
*For Title I Para Training Tips, where you will learn how to enter the system and access training materials along with directions to sign up for the assessment, you will need to access this from your district email.*
