TOTEM Spring Conference

March 8th & 9th, 2010

We are excited about the new classes included at the Spring Conference this year! With over 50 different courses, the choices are endless! We encourage you to take a look at the full list of course offerings in your Spring Conference Packet, sent via interschool mail.

 

POLICY REGARDING ATTENDANCE CERTIFICATES: Attendance certificates will no longer be given out at Spring Conference. Your MLP completion certificate will serve as the proof of your attendance. This means that you must attend only the sessions you have registered for and sign both the in & out rosters in the class. Please note that you will not get credit or be paid for sessions that you have not previously signed up to attend!!

 

The TOTEM Spring Conference will be held at Change Point. Classes are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday. All registration must be done through MLP (My Learning Plan). Open Registration will begin on February 3rd at 4:00 p.m. & end on February 19th.

 

All employees (including less than 8 hours) will be paid for the hours they attend the conference.  

 

We have also arranged with APU for employees to pay and receive one college credit for the entire conference. You will need to attend the conference both full days and submit a written reflection or journal of the courses you attended to receive college credit.

 

Lunch will be served for $8 per day or $15 for both days. Door prizes will be given away during lunch on both days.

 

Bussing will NOT be available this year due to the abundance of free parking.

 

Volunteers are always needed and any help you can give will be greatly appreciated. Please note on your registration form if you are interested in helping out. Some of the ways you can volunteer include: putting together a gift basket with your department, being a teacher's assistant for a class, donating a door prize, helping with registration and/or set-up the morning of the conference, etc. Please contact the TOTEM office if you need additional information.

Send the completed pre-registration form, lunch reservation and payment via interschool mail, or deliver them  to 3310 Arctic Blvd, Suite 200 no later than 4:30 p.m. on February 19th.
