ASD Blood Drives

TOTEM is a proud sponsor of the ASD Education Center blood drives. The Education Center hosts four blood drives per year for employees. The Blood Bank of Alaska parks its LIFEMobile bus in the parking lot for employee’s convenience. TOTEM understands the importance of blood donation and provides incentives for ASD employees to give blood. TOTEM raffles a $25 gift card for each drive. All donors are entered into a pot and one winner is drawn for each drive. Around the holidays, TOTEM raffles an additional prize, last year was a beautiful holiday centerpiece.

“We’ve seen a steady increase in participation over the last few years,” said ASD blood drive coordinator, Heather Roach. “We are very thankful for TOTEM’s support.”

ASD Blood Drives currently scheduled: Thursday, September 6; Friday, December 7 and Friday, February 22.

Important changes regarding the ETS ParaPro Assessment test:

The new ETS ParaPro Assessment Test has replaced the HELP test for paraprofessionals who need to be recertified. For a list of the next test dates, please contact Zareena at the number below.

The testing dates for the 2012/2013 School Year are:

September 22, 2012

November 3, 2012

January 26, 2013

April 13, 2012

June 8, 2013

July 20, 2013
